Spying on the Falcons

The girls and women of Long Beard isle, on Planet Archipelago, often take the roll of spying on the Falcon soldiers both in their camp from the top of the hill the Falcon’s call the “Collina di Sangue” and from other vantage points along the various trails the Falcons patrol. For close communication they use a series of animal calls and for more distant signals they use drums. The native islander commanders use a horn for some of their commands. So that they can remain motionless for long periods of time the islanders smear their tattooed bodies with moss, mud and fresh gatto dung both as camouflage and so that other wild creatures will stay away.
