A Rare Daylight Encounter

Captain Julian Alverez the captain of the merchant ship “Sweet William” from of the Isle d’ Martha in the year 120 tried to measure the ocean depth in a location that appeared to be deeper than most. He put down 300 feet of weighted line without reaching bottom. His effort was rewarded with a brief glimpse of a medium sized Kraken that followed his line up but then fled back down in the light of day.
